Key Features

  • Extra-thick frying pan with excellent heat storage can deliver heat evenly to the ingredients. Your cooking will be more enjoyable.
  • Frying pan of "Nambu Cast Iron" which is a traditional craft of Iwate Prefecture.
  • Supplied with a lid.

Use & Care

  • Compatible with direct fire and induction cooker (IH200V). Since the electromagnetic cooker is extremely powerful, please pay close attention to the frying pan and the power volume should be medium or less from the viewpoint of preventing deformation and safety of the pan.
  • With the use of cast iron products for a longer period, the oil gets familiar, rust-resistant, and burn-resistant. Soon after starting to use it, the foods tend to stick to it. By applying oil on the surface before every cooking, they will become difficult to stick to the pan.
  • After use, wash it using a scrubbing brush or brush with hot water without using detergent. If detergent is used, the oil on the surface will be washed away, and that will make it easier to rust and burn. After washing, lightly heat it to evaporate the water thoroughly, and then cool it well. When storing, apply a thin coat of oil with kitchen paper etc to prevent rusting.
  • Please take care of handling them when using as the cast iron products are very heavy. Please note that dropping or quenching may cause cracks. Do not touch it with your bare hands as the main body and handle may become extremely hot during use and may cause burns.
  • Leaving foods in the cast iron products can cause a chemical reaction with the tannins in the foods, which can cause the foods to turn black. It is harmless to the human body, but do not leave the foods in it after cooking, or store them in another container.
