Key Features

  • Kutani ware is a Japanese porcelain that was first created in the Edo period. HAREKUTANI porcelain ware was made by integrating traditional Kutani ware to modern lifestyle and seeking user-friendly shape and design.

Use & Care

  • As they are individually made, each is slightly different in color, shape, size and thickness.
  • Compatible with dishwashers and microwave ovens, but NOT with gas cooktops and ovens.
  • Porcelain is made of shattered pottery stone, which is then mixed and kneaded in high temperature. The surface of porcelain is white, and it has higher density, hardness and durability than pottery. As it won’t absorb water, it has stain/mold proofness and makes daily maintenance easier.
  • The surface glaze might get a crack during use, but it’s safe and harmless.
