  • Do not use over direct heat, in a microwave, or in an oven. The lacquer coating might peel off. There are also risks of deformation and fire.
  • Do not put it in the dishwasher.

  • Avoid using them in the fridge. Also avoid storing under direct sunlight or in an extremely dry place. These can cause the colors to fade.

Sabae, a city in Fukui Prefecture, Echizen Shikki-producing area, has developed thanks to about 1500 years of traditional techniques.
