Key Features

  • The geometrically shaped grooves of the plate, combined with the powder, allow you to quickly and correctly flatten the surface of sharpening stones.
  • The set includes one bottle of medium powder and one bottle of coarse powder.
  • Choose the proper surfacing compound depending on the grit of the stone that needs to be flattened. Each powder gives a different finish.
  • Use the coarse powder for #320 or less grit sharpening stones. The medium powder is suited for #500-3000 grit stones. You can use the fine powder for the stones higher than #4000 grit.
  • You can also use them on sharpening stones that are not from Shapton.

Use & Care

  • Wash it well after each use and dry it thoroughly before storing.
  • Saturate the sharpening stone with water before using it.
  • When you use different powders, wash the plate and the sharpening stone well with water beforehand.
