Key Features

  • A sharpening stone made of extra hard diamond. You can sharpen all kinds of blades, even those that are hard to sharpen. You can quickly and efficiently refine edges, better than with average sharpening stones.
  • The stone doesn't wear easily to keep the consistent sharpness even after using it for a long period of time. Perfect for precision polishing and sharpening on a lower angle, a high angle as well as for "uraoshi" to remove the ridge or the burr by sharpening from the back of a knife.
  • Bonded by the sintering method, the diamond abrasive doesn't peel easily. You can keep sharpening the edges on the stable and smooth surface.
  • No need to soak the stone before sharpening. You can sharpen the blades whenever you need. We recommend you to splash a large amount of water before you use it.
  • The #600 stone is for fixing chipped blades. The #800-1000 stone is great for everyday maintenance. The #3000 or higher stones can be used for retaining extra sharp edges.

Use & Care

  • Splash some water on the surface and start sharpening. You don't need to soak the stone with water prior to use. Simply moisten it with water while sharpening.
  • Make sure to use the stone on the flat, stable and non-slippery surface.
  • Wash it well with water after use. Air dry and store it away from the direct sunlight.
  • In case a part of the stone is chipped after a fall, for example, make sure to smooth out the chipped part so that the blade won't be damaged when sharpening with it.
