  • Compatible with either gas stove or induction heating. It can cook rice easily without complex heat adjustment.
  • Simple design with beautiful hammered pattern for multi-purpose use – either as a rice cooker or a casserole.
  • Composed of 4 layers and fluorine coating. The 4 layer body made of stainless steel and aluminum will conduct heat evenly and make each grain of rice soft and even more delicious. The fluorine coating will prevent rice sticking to the cooker.
  • Can be used for dishes other than rice, such as curry, stew and casserole.

Use & Care

  • The cooker will be extremely hot during cooking with steam coming out of the air hole in the middle of the lid. Make sure to use a potholder and not to touch the cooker or lid directly. Avoid putting the cooker on the table while it’s hot and use a table mat.
  • When washing the cooker, use a soft sponge with pH neutral detergent. Do not use abrasive detergents, which may cause damage to the cooker.
  • Do not put the cooker in dishwashers, which may cause it to rust.

Since 1921, HARIO has been dedicated to designing, production, and sales of heatproof glass. Also, they are the only heatproof glass manufacturer having a factory in Japan.

HARIO began their history as a manufacturer of laboratory glassware. In 1964, they expanded production to household items, starting with syphon coffee makers. They also began producing lenses for automotive headlights in 1980.

Today, HARIO is continuing to make a variety of items such as microwave-safe kitchenware, coffee and tea implements, and aromatherapy and pet products.
